When is the Best Time to Renew Car Insurance?

You can renew your car insurance in the weeks leading up to your renewal date.  NimbleFins looked at cheap car insurance quotes as part of a survey and found that the best time to renew your annual car insurance policy is around 3 weeks of the policy renewal date. This is when you are likely to get the best deal.

The survey showed that people who bought an insurance policy on the day the old policy expired could pay at least 30% more for insurance than those people who shopped around in the weeks before the renewal date.

If you leave it too close to your renewal date, you may not find the best insurance deal, so always leave yourself a few weeks before your renewal date to shop around for a good deal.
