Sony will expand its sales of the PlayStation 5 to include the Netherlands. In the US, PlayStation game consoles have been available directly from Sony since 2019.
Sony will expand its PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and accessories to Europe later this year. One of the first countries is the Netherlands, where Sony will sell itself and Belgium, Germany, France, Ireland, Luxembourg, and the United Kingdom. PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan reports this in a presentation about the performance of PlayStation in the past financial year.
It is not yet known when sales will start. Own sales go through the PlayStation Direct site, which also offers things like controllers, headphones, games and PlayStation Plus deals. It is not known whether its sales will change the scarcity of the PlayStation 5.
