Michelle Rodriguez found it Scary to Play Vulnerable Women
The American actress Michelle Rodriguez is known for her intricate roles in action films such as Fast & Furious, S.W.A.T. and Machete Kill. In her new movie Widows, she shows an entirely different side: a mother who is dependent on her criminal husband.
“I found it very scary to play a woman who is so vulnerable,” says the forty-year-old actress in an interview.
Viola Davis plays the leading role in the new film by British director Steve McQueen. When her husband (a character of Liam Neeson) dies in a robbery, she drums other women who have become widowed by the failed robbery to make the last crack.
