The designated presidential candidate attacks US President Donald Trump’s environmental policy. For him, climate change is just a joke.
The designated Democratic presidential candidate, Joe Biden, wants to take decisive action against climate change. “There is no more momentous challenge that we will have to face in the next decade than the onset of the climate crisis,” said Biden at a performance in Wilmington, Delaware. “If it is not contained, it is literally an existential threat to the health of our planet and our survival.”

According to scientists, there were still nine years to prevent irreversible damage, Biden said. That’s why he wanted to deliver results in his first term. Four million buildings across the country were to be energetically renovated, which would create at least one million jobs. Further jobs should bring an expansion of electric mobility.
